I just wanted to share a few thoughts before tomorrow’s race (Ironman 70.3 in Pucon, Chile). First, I want to thank you all for the continuous support you’ve given me through the entire season. It’s really an amazing feeling to have words of encouragement from people from all around the world. I feel honored to be part of Team Endure to Cure and try to bring inspiration to other people and most importantly, help find cures for cancer through my efforts.

After my last race back in November (Ironman Cozumel), I ended with an injured right leg. I had many thoughts of insecurity running around my head. I thought I would not be able to come back fully recovered for tomorrow’s race. Then I remembered all the reasons I’m doing this stuff for E2C. I had to pull it off, no matter what. So I did my therapy, patiently, day after day. Equally important, feeding the mind with positive thoughts. Then the miracle started to happen… the healing came to be a reality. Now I’m here at Pucon, Chile, loaded with energy and with a stronger mind than ever. I believe we can achieve anything. Just keep focus your mind on your goals and dreams. Along the process you will fall, but it doesn’t matter as this is part of your trainning. Be persistent, stand back up and keep going forward, the results will eventually come to you. This is my philosophy for sport and most important for LIFE.
