I may be young but I carry big dreams. One day I will stand on top of the world at the summit of Everest. When I compete in the Race Across America (RAAM), I plan on pushing my body to its breaking point and beyond. When we push ourselves past our limits, we change ourselves, the people around us, and the world we live in.
We have these legs. We have these arms. We have these lungs and this body. I want to see what they can do when backed by a purpose. People call me crazy. I hope to one day live in world without cancer. Is that crazy? I know too many people that are affected by cancer; too many children have their childhoods destroyed by cancer. But I can’t change this myself, I need your help. This past year I have learned more about myself then I have in the past 22 years by redefining my limits and trying to push myself to do what is seemingly impossible. This wouldn’t be possible without a higher purpose. With Endure to Cure and your help, we can change these children’s’ lives for the better.
In February I will be climbing Aconcagua, but before that I will be climbing Mount Everest without ever leaving Eastern Mountain Sports in NYC on the upper west side. On January 28th 2012 I will walk in to Eastern Mountain Sports and I won’t leave until I climb the equivalent of Mount Everest on a treadmill with a weighted pack. I invite you all to come out and join me.
I plan on continuing to push myself and redefine my limits as an endurance athlete, and in the process enrich other children’s lives. In February 2012 I plan on summiting Aconcagua. At 22,841 feet, Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas. With my fellow Team Endure to Cure athletes, I am raising funds to create small miracles for kids who are currently undergoing harsh cancer treatments. Each $500 I raise will help provide a small wish of a child to make their dark days of fighting cancer a little brighter. Check out some past examples

Children with cancer, and those who have reached survivor status, have shown us that human endurance can help overcome this terrible disease; and only by pushing ourselves past our limits can we ever win the tireless fight against cancer. Thank you for consideration helping me to change these children’s lives.
