"Every child must know that they are a miracle. That since the beginning of the world there hasn't been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like them." ~Pablo Casals

Every child deserves to be loved, have a happy life, and know that they are special in every thing they do.  As a mother of two healthy little girls, I cannot imagine the physical, financial, and emotional challenges that are associated with caring for a seriously ill child.  Every single day, I thank God that we have been blessed with good health and a happy life.  This thankfulness is what has inspired me to join Endure to Cure, to raise funds in order to bring a child and their family a small miracle to enjoy in the middle of their trying times.

I have been a fairly active person my whole life, but since having children it has occurred to me how lucky I am to be active with them.  When I am feeling overwhelmed as a mother, wife, or daughter I think about all the people who would love to have my chaotic, but "simple" life.

This year, I will be running my 6th marathon.  I am dedicating my training and Chicago Marathon race with Team Endure to Cure to all those who don't have the ability to compete for themselves. Endure to Cure is a non-profit group that raises funds to help research, treat, and provide support for pediatric cancer patients and families. E2C's primary mission is to endure and conquer our greatest physical challenges in order to advance cures for pediatric cancer, and also to serve as an inspiration to unite people worldwide effected by cancer. E2C is a truly amazing organization made of amazing people.  Approximately every $1000 I raise will enable Endure to Cure to provide a Small Miracle to a child who is going through cancer treatment.

Please support me as I participate in Endure to Cure in order to help a child with cancer know that they are loved every day and special in every way!  Thank you!!
