You would be hard pressed to find someone who has not been affected by cancer at some point during his or her life. Just like other things that scare us, sometimes it can be easier to sweep the problem under the rug until we are forced to face it head on. However, if we can make it past the initial fright and help others ailing from the disease, much difference can be made. This aid can come in many forms, and sizes, however, what really matters is its presence.
With that in mind, I have chosen to dedicate my Philadelphia Marathon race to help Endure to Cure bring holiday cheer to children in cancer treatment. Approximately every $50 I raise will enable a child in Boston to receive a surprise gift this holiday season during his or her cancer treatment. Will you join me in playing a small part in the fight to provide hope in a child's fight by donating to my campaign?
100% of everything we raise will directly fund our holiday gift project. And when this projects is finished, Endure to Cure will send us proof in pictures and patient stories, so we can see the joy and happiness enjoyed by the kids and families we impacted.
