I believe that with great obstacles comes even greater courage. Nothing can defeat ambition!

I am running the Cigna Falmouth Road Race to support research for pediatric cancer through an awesome organization: Endure to Cure! Myself and four other teammates hope to raise over $5,000 to help fund a survivorship study at the University of Chicago Corner Children's Hospital. This study will examine the long-term treatment effects on pediatric patients and seeks ways to minimize them. With the promise of obtaining beneficial results for the patients in the study, as well as developing new long-term post-survivorship methods for the 60% of children who suffer severe side effects, this research is invaluable.

The battles these children face and conquer each day takes more strength and perseverance than I could imagine. If celebrating my love for running can make just one battle for one child a little easier, I will run as long as my body is capable. Sometimes you find inspiration in the unexpected and it becomes a part of who you are. This happened to me and I am grateful for your support.
