Jay Alvarez

I believe that by all of us working together and putting forth the necessary energy, we can make tremendous changes to our lives and world.

I was first affected by cancer when my grandmother was diagnosed with the disease. We were very close and it was difficult for me to see as she rapidly declined. I miss her and think about her often and wish I could have done more for her. She was a strong woman and fought hard, but it eventually took her. Feeling so helpless, I struggled with the loss and the fact that I didn't know what I could do to help.

Within in the last several years, others close to me have been affected and diagnosed, including my father who is now fighting his second battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  I again started to get that helpless feeling inside. I am now committed to doing my part, helping raise awareness and funds for Endure to Cure. What better way for me to help, than to help the children who suffer with this illness. You too can make a difference and help by donating to this wonderful cause.

Thank you and don't be a stranger!!
