I believe that "Nobody who ever gave their best ever regretted it."

In 2004, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am pleased to say she is currently in remission and doing well, however many cannot make the same claim. Furthermore, being a veterinarian, I deal with diagnosing and treating cancer for our four-legged friends every day. To see cancer debilitate the young, the old, the human, the animal, is not only devastating, but also frustrating to those who feel helpless in fighting it. Therefore, I believe that any field of cancer research is one step towards finding a cure. It is the research of the past that has given me my mother today; and for that, I will do my best to pay that act forward.

For that reason, I am running a 7-mile road race in August 2010 to help raise funds for the Endure to Cure Foundation. Please support me in this endeavor!
