Hi everyone,
I am running the Falmouth Road Race on August 14, 2011. This will be my fifth year running and can’t waitJ
I will be training and fundraising with the Endure to Cure team for pediatric cancer. Last year was my first year with this organization and it was a great experience. The team is truly dedicated to making a difference.
On April 16, 2010, my 11 year old niece, Hannah, was diagnosed with having a craniopharyngioma, a brain tumor near the pituitary gland. Thankfully, her surgery was a success, but she does have some lifelong side effects. My family and I are grateful that she is doing well but will never forget seeing her, and the other very sick children struggling every day. Running a race in their honor is such a small step compared to the strength and courage they portray everyday. I feel privileged to be helping such a great cause and organization. Through all of this I have been reminded that the smallest gesture of support and generosity goes a long way in the eye’s of a child and their family. Please help me and the Endure to Cure team reach our goal. My personal goal is $1000. I thank you in advance for your generosity. Remember, every little bit helps.
