How We Help the Fight Against Pediatric Cancer

Endure to Cure's purpose is to aid the treatment and care for pediatric cancer patients, and help fund pediatric cancer research studies.  Here are our three flagship programs:

Small Miracles Program

Our Small Miracles Program helps children bridge the scary abyss between their cancer diagnosis and their cure by fulfilling some of their simplest wishes. These small yet ever-so-important wishes usually result in major emotional boosts which provide an immeasurable impact on their quest towards a cure.  These small wishes generally cost $500 or less and are open to any child through the age of 18 undergoing pediatric cancer treatment.  Click here for some past Small Miracles we have fulfilled.

Travel for Treatment Grant Program

Our Travel for Treatment Grant Program helps families in financial need with travel costs associated with their child's cancer treatment.  Many families do not live near hospitals with the ability to treat children with cancer.  In fact, nearly 60% of children diagnosed with cancer must travel over 50 miles to get to their nearest oncologist.  And unlike the direct costs of cancer treatments which are insurable or able to be financed, the indirect costs such as transportation to and from treatments must be incurred immediately and directly out-of-pocket, which often puts great strain on families during an already challenging time.  We help these qualifying families by providing grants up to $5,000 to fund the various travel costs associated with their child's treatment such as food, airfare, car rentals, gasoline, lodging, etc.

Pediatric Cancer Research Grant Program

We also provide research grants to fund projects at research institutions that have proven over time to conribute meaningful breakthroughs for cures and therapies.to the various types of pediatric cancer.  Click here for research studies we have helped fund.
